The latest figures for the consumption of plastic bottles for packaging is increasing globally, with the number expected to reach around 227 million this year but many manufacturers are now taking on board the harmful environmental and health risk associated with traditional plastic bottles and looking to bottles made from plants which can also give back something to the environment.
